Why did I get this email?
You received an email that ends with "Sent with MailBrother", or a link in it pointed to a MailBrother address. Here is what that means and how to stop further emails.
MailBrother did not send you the email
MailBrother is a Chrome extension that lets a person send individual emails from their own Gmail account. The sender is the Gmail address in the "From" line. We do not sell or provide email lists, and we do not send email ourselves. The signature line is added on our free plan so recipients can see which tool was used.
How to stop emails from this sender
- Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. The sender's future campaigns will skip your address.
- Reply to the sender and ask to be removed. It is their own Gmail inbox; they will see it.
- Block the sender in Gmail (⋮ menu → Block) or mark the email as spam, which also tells Google about the sender.
If the email is a scam, contains illegal content, or you keep receiving messages after unsubscribing, forward it with its headers to [email protected]. We suspend accounts that violate our terms and add your address to a block list for that sender.
What we store about you
For campaign reports we store the recipient address, the send time and whether the email was opened, clicked, bounced or unsubscribed. Nothing else. To have it deleted, email [email protected]. Details in the privacy information.
