Features · version 2.2.6

Everything MailBrother does inside Gmail

One extension, no separate platform: recipients from Sheets or CSV, individual emails from your own address, follow-ups when nobody replies, replies sorted for you, and AI helpers where you write. Free plan includes every feature.

Sending

Send Mass, next to Gmail's Send

Write the email in Gmail as usual. Press Send Mass and every recipient gets an individual message from your own address, one thread per person, no visible list and no BCC.

Campaign options in the docs →

  • Interval between emails. Default 30 seconds; 30–60 s looks like a person and stays out of spam.
  • Schedule. Pick a date and time; the campaign starts on its own.
  • Split sending. Lists larger than your daily limit continue automatically the next day (450 a day on @gmail.com, 1,800 on Google Workspace).
  • Undo for 60 seconds. Changed your mind after Send Mass? Cancel before anything leaves.
  • Send from an alias. Any verified "Send mail as" address from your Gmail settings.
  • Stop, resume, resend. Pause a running campaign from the Campaigns tab, resume later, or resend the same email to everyone who never opened it.
  • Progress in the Gmail header. A small "Leads Q3 · 120/450" chip while a campaign runs; click to open it.
Recipients

Sheets, CSV or a pasted list

Every column becomes a tag: {FirstName}, {Company}, with fallbacks like {FirstName|there} and conditional blocks {if Plan=Pro}…{/if}.

Google Sheets merge → · List quality →

  • Google Sheets import. Pick a file and a sheet, the email column is detected, up to 10,000 rows.
  • Paste addresses or upload a CSV. Duplicates removed, invalid lines skipped, extra columns become tags.
  • Insert variable. A menu of your columns right in the compose window; autocomplete when you type {.
  • Verify addresses. Syntax, disposable domains, role addresses (info@, sales@), mail-server check, and bounce history across MailBrother. Remove the invalid ones with one click.
  • Suppression list. Unsubscribed, bounced and "please stop" addresses are skipped in every future campaign. Add addresses or whole domains (@competitor.com), import from another tool, export as CSV.
  • Enrich recipients. Company name, description and category looked up by email domain in our index of 20 million live sites, plus a personal opening line {AI_Intro} written for each recipient.
  • Results back into the sheet. Optional MB_Status, MB_Sent, MB_Opened, MB_Clicked columns that stay updated.
Before you send

A pre-flight check on every campaign

After Send Mass, before anything goes out, MailBrother shows what a recipient will actually get and what could go wrong.

  • Checklist. Missing subject, empty tags in the first rows, tags not found in your list, link shorteners, image-only emails, oversized HTML, recipients you already emailed this week, name columns holding something that is not a name. Red items block, yellow ones warn.
  • Personalized preview. The email as recipient 1, 2 and 3 will see it, with real values filled in.
  • Spam score. 0–100 from rules (trigger words, caps, links, unsubscribe) with the reasons and fixes. Ask AI for a second opinion and the three edits that would help most.
  • Send test to me. One copy to your own inbox with the first row's values.
Follow-ups

Follow up automatically, in the same thread

Most replies come after the second or third touch. Add up to three steps and MailBrother sends them to everyone who has not replied, threaded under your first email.

How follow-ups work →

  • Up to 3 steps with a delay in days for each; empty subject keeps the thread as "Re: …".
  • Stops on its own after a reply, an unsubscribe, a bounce, a click (optional) or when you stop the campaign.
  • AI writes the drafts from your first email: shorter, one new angle, one question.
  • Add later. A sequence can be attached to a campaign that already went out.
  • Counted in your limit. Follow-ups share the daily quota with first emails, so the account stays safe.
Replies

The metric that matters, sorted for you

Opens are inflated by image proxies. MailBrother watches the threads of your campaigns and shows real replies.

Reply detection →

  • Detected every 10 minutes; out-of-office and other auto-replies are recognised and not counted.
  • Categories: interested, question, not now, not interested, asked to stop. Rules first, AI for the rest; change any by hand.
  • Gmail labels MailBrother/Replied and MailBrother/Interested, so you can work from the inbox.
  • "Please stop" replies go straight to your suppression list; three of them in a row pause the campaign.
  • AI draft reply. One click creates a Gmail draft in the thread answering what was asked and proposing a next step. You edit and send.
  • Reply rate per campaign in the table, on the campaign page and in the weekly report.
Results

Campaigns, recipients, links, clients

Everything lives under MailBrother → Campaigns in Gmail. Charts by day, month or campaign; export as PDF, CSV or TXT.

Campaigns page →

  • Per campaign: sent, opened, clicked, replied, bounced, unsubscribed, in queue, with percentages.
  • Per recipient: status, times, reply category, follow-up step, the variables used. Filter by "no reply yet", "opened", "bounced"; copy any segment.
  • Clicked links ranked by unique clicks; mail clients and countries of opens.
  • Best time to send from your own opens over the last 90 days.
  • MailBrother averages (anonymous, refreshed daily) next to your numbers.
  • Weekly report in your inbox every Monday: sent, replies, best campaign, one thing to fix.
  • AI summary of a finished campaign in a few plain sentences.
  • Quota bar: today's sends, what is left and what is queued.
Deliverability

Built to keep you out of spam

Gmail's rules for bulk senders, handled by default.

SPF, DKIM, DMARC guide → · Gmail limits →

  • One-click unsubscribe. List-Unsubscribe headers on every email, so Gmail shows its own Unsubscribe button; a visible link is one click away in the compose menu.
  • Domain check. SPF, DKIM and DMARC status for Workspace domains at the top of the Campaigns tab with a fix guide.
  • Plain-text part added to HTML emails automatically.
  • Own tracking domain for opens, clicks and unsubscribes.
  • Auto-pause when several recipients ask to stop; you get an email. Bounced addresses go to your suppression list and are never mailed twice.
  • Bounce handling. Bounced addresses are marked, moved out of your inbox and suppressed for the future.
  • Tracking off for small sends. 20 recipients or fewer get no pixel and no rewritten links by default.
AI helpers

AI where you write, not a chat bubble

Built in, no extra account. Free: 40 requests a day; paid plans: 300.

What the AI does and sees →

  • Subject ideas. Five subject lines for the email you wrote; one click applies it.
  • Improve text. Warmer, shorter and more direct, more formal; cut to half; expand a terse draft. You approve before it replaces anything.
  • Translate into 16 languages with tags and links kept.
  • HTML from a description. "Launch note, three benefits, one orange button" becomes a clean 600-px HTML email.
  • Spam-risk review, follow-up drafts, reply drafts, personal opening lines per recipient, campaign summary.
Compose tools

The MailBrother menu in Compose

  • Add unsubscribe link, Insert variable, GSheets Integration, Paste addresses / CSV, Verify addresses, Enrich recipients, Subject ideas, Improve text, Translate.
  • Getting started in one alert after sign-in, and a guide for Workspace admins when Google says "this app is blocked". Admin guide →
